Our game genre is  going to be along the lines of  adventure and maybe even strategy.  We want our game to either be about working at a resturant or working at a clothing store.  We were planning on making a game that you must find the output to an input output table. It is definately going to be a fun game but at the same time it is also going to be educational.  If we decide to do a game about a resturant you will have to get the output right then you would get a little information on how to manage the costumers and everything then, if you continue to get the answers right you will get more information and as soon as you get ten input output tables correct you will get to play the game.  You will have to use the information to correctly run the  resturant.  If we decide to make a game about working in a clothing store you will do the same thing for it but in stead of running a reaturant you will run a clothing store.
I am most excited about working with the appearance of the game.  I think that it will me the most fun out of the whole proccess of making a game but, I plan on doing all the important parts before I try to make it pretty.  I will do my best to finish the game and I can almost gurantee that it will be vey detailed.  I just love making things pretty so I can just imagine making my own game.

Different Perspective

     Sometimes when I am at home and there is nothing to do I play my wii.  My favorite game for my wii is most definately wii fit.  It is a great game because, it not only gives me something to do but it keep me fit and in shape.  It would probably be under the genre of excercise because, it keeps me very active the whole time I play it.  I definately have a whole different perspective about game making when I just think about all the hard work and details put into the making of wii fit or any other game.

Introducing Myself

My name is Kaitlin Cline and I am in Mr.Lesters globaloria class.  My partner in my globalorias class is Kaitlyn Kennedy and she is very easy to get along with.  We are making a game on input and output tables, and we want it to be about a restraunt.  Now that's enough about class let's talk about me.  I blow out 13 candles on June the sixth of 2011.  I like to eat pizza and hotdogs they are practically my life.  My favorite song is Break Your Heart because it is just the best thing ever.  I am a huge Twilight fan unfortunately team Jacob all the way.  I have blonde hair and hazel eyes and I am about 5'4.  I am in the seventh grade and i'm really liking it.  My absolute best friends are Amber Nicole, Amber LaShae, and of course Summer Faith.  Well that about wraps up everything.

Globaloria Genres

    Yesterday we was all told to get on Playing To Learn and play two games of our choice. I played one game called WV Animal Rescue Squad and another called Drift Runners.  The WV Animal Rescue Squad game was under the adventure genre and I liked that game very well. The other game Drift Runners was under the genre of racing games and I liked that game also, but it was not educational.  The WV Animal Rescue Squad was a game about helping out animals so they will not live bad or even feel bad. To make the animals feel well you would give it a bath and some vaccinations.  To help the animals live in an healthy environment you would clean there living areas regularly.  This game was a pleasure playing because I love animals and it taught me a few things that I didn't know before.  The Drift Runners was a game about racing and making skid marks on the road.  To make skid marks you would have to do a steep turn going really fast and you also had to worry about passing the other cars.  This game was fun but didn't teach me anything. My favorite game out of the two was the WV Animal Rescue Squad game so I think I would like to make one of my games under the adventure genre.
