WHO are you designing your game for? I am going to design our game for students ranging in age from 10-15 to where they are old enough to fully understand the games topic.
WHAT will your game teach the player about your topic? Our game is going to be of the titanic and we want to give the player a feel of just how hard it was to survive the Titanic.
WHERE does your game happen? Our game setting is going to be in the Northern Atlantic Ocean.
Our game will be designed for the new generation but it will teach history. This setting will be a good learning experience because almost everyone know about the Titanic and it was such an important time in history.
HOW does your game world teach the player about your topic? Well we are trying to give the students a better understanding of the Titanic. In our game we are going to try to have the player be driving the ship through a sea of iceburgs without hitting one. The player will use what he knows about ships and iceburgs to get through the sea.
WHY is a game a better way of understanding your topic than a quiz? A game is a better way o understanding the topic because, in a game you can interact with things while learning at the same time. This way you will be learning in an easier and funner way.
